Well in 4 years, Simi has moved on from begging Don Jazzy to becoming a global brand. She came into spotlight after she released singles like: Tiff, Love Dont Care and Jamb question. She also did a collabo with Falz on his hit song”Soldier” which has continued to get massive airplay and accolades.

The songstress is a graduate of Mass communication from Covenant University. She wrote her first tune at the age of 10 and started singing at the age of 16. Due to her love for arts, she started singing and dancing as teenager and as a member of the teenage church choir.

The Ondo state indigene is the only girl in the midst of four boys and the last born of four children; as a result of being the only girl in the midst of four boys, Simi used to be a tomboy while she was growing up. She was brought up by a single mum because her parents were separated when she was only 9.
